Radiation Oncology

Radiation oncologists specialize in the treatment of cancer patients through radiation. Cancer patients who receive radiation therapy may also receive it in combination with surgery, chemotherapy or to ease the pain associated with incurable cancers. Radiation oncologists work closely with other physicians as part of the multidisciplinary cancer team.
